Coryn K. Leaman H.H.P.
Coryn started giving massage at the age of 3 because she didn’t want anyone to have pain and felt she could help. She understood this pain due to childhood rheumatoid arthritis. For her own pain and scoliosis, she began doing yoga at the age of 14 and by 25 she cured herself of arthritis. That is when she realized she could help others and show them how they could become pain free.
In 1982 Coryn was the first student at The Dessert Institute of Healing Arts in Tucson. Since her graduation Coryn taught Lomilomi massage and other topics at massage schools. She did this while she had a healing center with her own line of herbal products that would help people loose weight, get pregnant, heal their bodies and how to rid themselves of pain; with the use of herbs nutrition, stretching and massage.
During Coryn’s 30 plus years of continued study and teaching of the Hawaiian healing arts and culture includes 20 years of Hula, prayer, chanting, gourd making, lei making, ancient fabric dying and much more.
In Coryn’s retirement she has written two Lomilomi books and produced 6 instructional videos for Lomilomi massage.
